Aadhaar Grievance Submission & Redressal Process Explained
The UIDAI has established multiple channels for addressing Aadhaar-related grievances to ensure a smooth resolution process. Users can lodge complaints through the CPGRAMS portal or reach out via a toll-free number (1947) for immediate assistance.
Additionally, state-specific regional offices are available for localized support. For those preferring offline methods, postal complaints can be sent to UIDAI’s Regional Offices or Headquarters, where they are reviewed and forwarded to the appropriate section after approval from the Deputy Director.
To enhance accessibility, UIDAI has also set up a dedicated Contact Centre that assists individuals with issues related to Aadhaar enrolment, updates, and other services. When enrolling, users receive an acknowledgment slip containing an Enrolment ID (EID), which they can use for further queries.
