It is currently not possible to update your name on your Aadhaar card online. Here is how to do it:

  • Step 1: Download Aadhaar Name Change Form
  • Step 2: Visit an Aadhaar Seva Kendra
  • Step 3: Submit Proof of Identity and Pay ₹50 Fee
  • Step 4: Get URN and Track Update Status

A confirmation slip containing an updated URN (Update Request Number) will be sent to you. You can use this URN to check the status of your UIDAI Aadhaar update.
